Campsite rules

for the “Camping Pirna” campsite

Dear guest,
we warmly welcome you to our campsite and wish you a pleasant stay. We are committed to making the time you spend at our campsite as enjoyable as possible. In the interest of all camping guests, please observe the following rules:

1. Purpose of the campsite

The campsite offers guests tranquility and relaxation. We ask all our guests for mutual consideration during their stay. This tourist campsite is not a residential complex for mobile people and groups who manifestly do not practice camping in the traditional sense. Traders and persons wishing to conduct or advertise a business on the campsite, or from the camping grounds, will not be allowed to enter. Exceptions to the above provisions are granted only by the operator.

2. Access and user fees

Access to the campsite is only permitted after registration and presentation of a valid personal identity document. Please let reception know if you are expecting visitors. Please refer to the website or the current price sheet at the reception for Camping Pirna’s usage fees.

3. Children and adolescents

Children and adolescents under the age of 16 only receive a camping permit if they are supervised by parents, teachers, educators or hiking guides. Adolescents up to the age of 18 require written permission from their parent or guardian, including contact details. This must be presented to reception staff upon arrival.

4. Authority to issue instructions and domiciliary rights

In dangerous situations – and for setting up motor vehicles, caravans and tents – please follow instructions given by campsite staff. The operator is entitled to exercise domiciliary rights, i.e. the right to refuse to admit persons or expel guests from the site if this appears necessary in the interest of other campers.

5. Use of the pitch

It is not permitted to dig ditches or build a fence around the pitch. Please also make sure that no one is placed in danger by tent stakes, tent cords or other tent accessories. Snapping/cutting off branches or twigs from the trees and hedges is prohibited. The car must be parked within the rented plot. An exception is made for campers who must park their vehicles in the parking lot in front of the campsite.

6. Water usage

Water is a precious commodity. Please use it sparingly and also educate your children in this regard. None of the faucets on the campsite supply drinking water. We therefore recommend that you boil the water from the faucets before consumption. Drinking water is only available from the designated water faucets in the sanitary block.

7. Keeping the place clean and tidy

Cleanliness is important to us. This is why we ask you to leave the sanitary facilities as you found them. Please note the cleaning times for each sanitary block and use the other block when one is closed. Small children under 6 years of age are only allowed in the sanitary and toilet blocks when accompanied by an adult. Please leave the sinks and washbasins in a clean condition after each use. The sanitary blocks and disposal points in the outdoor area are also to be kept clean (guest must bring their own cleaning products). All equipment and facilities are to be treated with care.

8. Fire safety

  • When barbecuing at the site of the caravan, motorhome or tent, you must ensure appropriate fire safety procedures are followed.
  • Open fires such as campfires are not permitted. Exceptions require the site owner’s approval. Great care must be taken when handling “ignition devices” and also when smoking.
  • Fire extinguishers must not be misused. Upon arrival, please inform yourself about where the fire extinguishers are located, along with possible escape routes (escape and rescue plans can be found on all buildings on the campsite).
  • If a fire breaks out, the fire department must be alerted immediately by calling the emergency number 112 and Site Management must be notified. The Site Management telephone number can be found on the escape and rescue plans under Accidents and Emergencies. Please proceed immediately to the designated assembly points.
  • The gas equipment used in the caravans and motorhomes can only be operated with a valid certificate (proof of certification must be presented when requested).

9. Dogs

Guests with dogs are welcome at our campsite. Dogs must always be kept on a leash on the campsite grounds. Dogs are not allowed in the sanitary facilities areas. Dogs must not be left unattended. We reserve the right to revoke permission at any time if, for example, complaints from other guests arise.

10. Quiet times

We observe quiet times daily from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. The barrier is closed during the periods of quiet time. During this time, please be considerate of the other guests and avoid noise and loud conversations. Always turn the radio, TV, etc. down so that you do not disturb others. Please note that no vehicles may be moved on the pitch during rest periods. Anyone who grossly violates these campsite quiet time regulations must expect immediate expulsion from the campsite.
Arriving guests may park their vehicle on the check-in strip in the access road of the campsite during these quiet times.

11. Road traffic regulations

The Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) apply to the entire campsite area. Vehicles may only drive on the designated roads and only at walking speed.

12. Leisure time

For ball games and other sports activities, please use the designated areas.

13. Use of the natural lake

Guests of the campsite can use the natural lake and the beach area. Use of these areas is at guests’ own risk. Dogs must be kept on a leash on the entire natural lake area. Bathing pets of any kind is prohibited.

14. Departure

Please check out at the front desk before departure. Departure must be by 11:00 am; for rental properties by 10:00 am. If the departure times are exceeded, site management is entitled to charge the guests a daily flat rate for the overrun according to the current prices. Please leave the pitch clean upon departure.

15. Liability

Site management assumes no liability for theft or damage to the property of our guests by third parties or force majeure. The pursuit of any leisure activities on the grounds is at guests’ own risk. Parents have the duty of supervision, they are liable for their children. The use of the playground and sports areas is at your own risk and responsibility. The use of the campsite including its facilities and equipment (sanitary buildings, playground, sports and barbecue area, etc.) by the guest is at his own risk, without prejudice to the obligation of the management to maintain the campsite and its facilities in a safe condition. The instructions of the campsite staff must be obeyed. Every guest has to behave in such a way that no other guest is harassed, endangered or damaged. The facilities of Camping Pirna are to be treated with care. In case of misuse, culpable pollution or damage, the guest is liable for the damage. Damages are to be reported immediately to the campsite staff. The management is liable for damages in case of intent and gross negligence, also of his assistants, according to the legal regulations. The same applies to negligently caused damage resulting from injury to life, body or health. In the case of negligently caused damage to property and financial loss, the management and its vicarious agents shall only be liable in the event of a breach of a material contractual obligation, but the amount shall be limited to the damage foreseeable at the time of conclusion of the contract and typical for the contract. Essential contractual obligations are those whose fulfillment characterizes the contract and on which the guest may rely.

We wish you a relaxing stay!
